1. Who runs the site

Ruby Fever, published at rubyfever.com (below, "the Site"), belongs to Ruby Fever Ltd company no. 41872342 of Wilson St, Middlesbrough TS1 1AE, United Kingdom — "we" and "us" throughout. Reach us at hello@rubyfever.com, or through the support page.

2. Taking on these terms

Opening the Site means taking on these terms, alongside the Privacy Notice, the Cookie Notice and the Safer Play page. Should any part of it not suit you, the remedy is straightforward: close the tab.

3. Age, and where you are

  • Eighteen is the minimum, or higher still where the age of majority around you is higher.
  • Nobody should open the Site from a place that forbids social casino games. Establishing that is down to you.
  • We may require your age to be confirmed, and may withhold or withdraw access wherever we think these conditions have not been met.

4. What is on offer

Seven casino-styled tables, free to play, built for entertainment. Each is staked in Rubies, the currency described in section 6, and each prints its rules and its paytable on the page where it is played.

5. What is not on offer

Nothing on the Site is gambling for money, and there is no prize of any description to be won. No sum is deposited, no stake is laid in currency, nothing is withdrawn and nothing is cashed out. No outcome at any table earns you a claim to money, goods, services, vouchers, tokens or anything else with a value attached.

Neither does the Site carry links to, advertising for, or sign-up routes into any operation that takes real stakes. Doing well at social casino games is no sign of how anyone would do at gambling for money.

6. The Rubies currency

  • Stakes are laid in "Rubies". What you receive is a licence to use them on the Site: personal to you, limited, revocable, and impossible to pass on. Rubies are not owned by you, and they are neither money, nor electronic money, nor any sort of financial instrument.
  • A Ruby is worth nothing in the world outside. It is never cashed in, redeemed, sold, turned into money, goods, services, vouchers or prizes, entered in a draw, a raffle or a sweepstake, or moved to another person.
  • Free Rubies arrive three ways: an opening 12,500, a daily 7,500, and a lift to 3,000 any time the balance slips beneath 250. Those figures may be revised, with notice given on the Site.
  • Local storage in your browser holds the balance. No account is attached to it, and it disappears if site data is cleared, if a private window is used, or if the device or browser changes. Free Rubies are beyond our power to restore, for the simple reason that we never held them.
  • A balance produced by a fault, a bug or deliberate tampering may be put back to what it should have been.

7. Buying a pack

In-game purchases are available. Packs of Rubies — "Ruby packs" — may be bought at will. No pack is needed to play anything, and no corner of the Site is fenced off for people who buy one.

  • Who may. Anyone 18 or over who is entitled to use the card or account presented.
  • What lands. The stated quantity of Rubies, added to the balance in whichever browser made the purchase. Odds, paytables and features are untouched by it, and the Rubies carry no value in the outside world.
  • Price, and tax. Every price appears in US dollars ahead of confirmation. Conversion is a matter between you and your bank, and tax may be added according to where you are.
  • The ceiling. Buying stops at US$120 within any calendar month.
  • The payment itself. A payment provider handles it under its own terms. Full card details neither reach us nor rest with us.
  • Immediate delivery. A pack is digital content handed over at once. Where a statutory right of withdrawal belongs to you, the checkout will ask you to consent to immediate delivery and to accept that the right lapses the moment the Rubies land.
  • Money back. Beyond that, a purchase stands, unless a law says otherwise, unless the pack never arrived, or unless a minor bought it unsupervised. Write within fourteen days of a mistake and it gets a fair hearing.
  • Reversed payments. Where a payment is pulled back after the event, the Rubies it paid for may go with it.

None of this narrows the rights handed to you by consumer law where you live.

8. Conduct at the tables

Undertakings you give by playing:

  • no bots, no scripts, no automation aimed at a table, and no editing of balances, storage keys or game code;
  • no selling, trading, gifting or advertising of Rubies, and nothing of value offered in return for them;
  • no using the Site to push gambling operations, prize schemes or anything else at other visitors;
  • no interference with how the Site runs or how it is secured, and no probing it for weaknesses without our agreement in writing;
  • no breaking, while you are here, of any law that applies to you.

9. Outcomes and faults

Outcomes come from the generator built into your browser, under the rules and the paytable printed beside each table. Where a malfunction, a mis-drawn screen or a bug throws up an outcome or a balance that should not have happened, that round counts for nothing and the balance may be corrected.

10. Who owns the material

The Site, the Ruby Fever name and mark, the names of the tables, the artwork, the words and the code are ours or licensed to us by somebody else. Use them for playing here, personally, and not commercially. No name, mark or brand element belonging to a real casino appears anywhere on the Site.

11. Uptime, and change

We do our best to keep the Site up, without promising it never stops. Tables, features, free Ruby figures and pack contents may all be added to, altered or taken away. Where an alteration materially affects Rubies somebody has paid for, notice goes up on the Site beforehand whenever that is reasonably possible.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The Site comes as it is, for entertainment. So far as the law allows, we do not answer for indirect or consequential loss, for free Rubies that go missing, or for damage flowing from events we could not reasonably control. For any claim touching the Site, what we can owe you in total stops at whatever you paid us for packs across the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing written here removes a liability that cannot lawfully be removed — among them liability for death or injury arising from negligence, liability for fraud, and your rights as a consumer.

13. Restriction and closure

You may walk away from the Site whenever you like. We may narrow or end access, buying included, where these terms are broken, where fraud or underage use is suspected, or where a law requires it. Since Rubies carry no monetary value, nothing falls due for Rubies lost that way, apart from a refund already owed under section 7 or by law.

14. Law, and disagreements

The law of the place where Ruby Fever Ltd company no. 41872342 is registered governs these terms. As a consumer you keep the compulsory protections of your own country as well, and you may bring a case there. Do write to us first, though — almost everything is settled faster by email than by anybody's court.

15. Revisions

These terms get revised from time to time. The date printed at the head of this page identifies the live version, and anything significant is flagged on the Site.
