At the tables
Is Ruby Fever free the whole way through?
Yes. The opening 12,500 Rubies, the daily gift of 7,500 and the lift whenever the balance drops under 250 are enough to play all seven tables for as long as you like. Ruby packs are an extra and are never required.
Who is allowed to play?
Adults aged 18 and over. Every visitor is asked to confirm it before the tables open. Where social casino games are restricted by local law, please respect that and stay away.
Is there anything to install, or an account to make?
Neither. The tables are ordinary web pages and the balance is held by your browser. There is no app, no registration and no password.
How are results decided?
Each outcome is drawn with the cryptographic random number generator built into your browser. Card tables shuffle fresh virtual decks. Nothing is adjusted for your balance, your purchases or how long you have been sitting there.
Why is there no autoplay?
Because a round should be something you choose. Leaving autoplay out keeps the pace in your hands and makes it easier to stop.
What do the stake keys do?
They step the stake between 20 and 5,000 Rubies. The amount is taken when the round begins, and any return is added when it settles.
What is the house edge?
It varies by table and is visible in the paytables. None of it matters financially, because none of it is money — but we would rather publish the figures than pretend the tables are even.
Rubies and packs
What exactly is a Ruby?
A counter we invented to keep score. It has no real-world value. It cannot be withdrawn, swapped for money, goods, services or prizes, entered into a draw or sweepstake, or handed to another player.
Can I win money or a prize here?
No. There is no real-money gambling at Ruby Fever and no real-world prize of any kind. Doing well at social casino games is no sign of how anyone would do at gambling for money.
What is in a Ruby pack?
Rubies, and only Rubies. Packs start at US$2.49 and add to the balance in the browser you buy them in. A pack does not shift the odds, lengthen a paytable or unlock anything.
Is spending limited?
Yes. Purchases are capped at US$120 per calendar month, and only adults may buy.
Can I have a refund?
Refunds fall under section 7 of the Terms of Use and the consumer law where you live. If a pack was bought by mistake, write within 14 days and describe what happened.
I cleared my browser and my Rubies vanished. Can you restore them?
Free Rubies, no — they were never on our servers, so there is nothing to restore, and you simply begin again on 12,500. Purchased Rubies are different: send us the order reference and we will sort it out.
Can I move Rubies to a friend, or to another device?
No. There is no transfer between players and no sync between devices, because there are no accounts to sync between.
Privacy, safety and breaks
What personal data do you hold?
Very little. Personal data reaches us only if you write to us, plus the ordinary server logs any website keeps. Your balance, your age confirmation and your cookie choice stay on your device. The Privacy Notice has the detail.
How do I take a break, or stop altogether?
Close the tab whenever you like. A reminder appears after 40 minutes at a table anyway. To stop for good, the Safer Play page explains how to block the site on your devices and how to have purchases blocked for you.
How do I keep a child off the site?
Use the parental controls in the device or browser, and keep payment methods behind a password or a fingerprint. If you think a minor has bought a pack, contact us and we will refund it.
Do you send marketing email?
No. We reply to messages you send us and that is the extent of it. There is no newsletter and no promotional mail.
Ruby Fever opens to over-18s and exists for amusement. Nothing is staked in cash, nothing pays out in cash, and buying Rubies is always a matter of choice.
